Lidador Wreck – Night Dive

Earlier this month, Arraia Divers recently held their first night dive after the summer holidays on the Lidador wreck in Angra Bay. Our resident photographer Jeremy was joined by a couple of fellow countrymen, Moses & Brannon. They were led by Instructor Phil and assisted by our Divemaster Geo. One of our recent interns, Andre, joined as well to experience the wreck in all of its night time wonder.

All the usual nocturnal animals, spider crabs, locust lobsters, hermit crabs were out and about but we had an unusual visit from a planehead filefish.

All in all, everyone enjoyed themselves and really appreciated the overall experience.

Here are some of Jeremy’s shots from this dive and we appreciate the loaning of these for the webpage.

Now that we are entering the Autumn, we will be doing more Night dives, especially as Jeremy wants to achieve his PADI Night Specialty.
